L-Gaim episode 39

This episode is very much one of those “this is the best plan ever” type episodes. Though the character animation seemed a bit off this episode, not sure if it’s just me though.

Also, 2nd anniversary for the founding of /m/subs woo.

Anyways, enjoy the episode. For those of you waiting on Layzner, 22 is in final checking, 23 is timed but needs checking, and 24 needs timing. I love having a new productive translator for that. Think there’ll be a Great Mazinger ep out soon as well.

L-Gaim 38

I really wanted to do a Science Fiction Double Feature with both Layzner and L-Gaim but the subninjas intervened on Layzner, so that’s still in final checking.

Anyways this episode we get the beginning of the plan clusterfuck of the last arc (hopefully a lot less confusing with coherent subs) and the good guys coming up with the sort of plan usually reserved for villains in a Gundam series.

Gaiking Legend of Daiku Maryu sub fixes

First things first, VF-kun from /m/ asked me to post this here so people can keep track of the project, I am not involved and cannot answer any “when’s the next release” complains in the comments.

As some of you already know the currently available subs for the Gaiking remake ‘Gaiking Legend of Daiku Maryu’ were both done by TV-Nihon and used some very QUALITY-ridden TV rips. This project by VF-kun and Magenta from /m/ is using shiny new DVD rips and fixed scripts in order to give the show the treatment it deserves.

Here are the links for episode 1, the aim is for a weekly schedule at best, but Magenta’s apparently fairly busy but will strive to provide as much Gaiking as possible.

As for updates on other projects, L-Gaim will probably be up tonight or tomorrow. Layzner has been sent for a final check due to the translation apparently not being quite up to the standard I thought whilst I try to stop a beta version being released for the hardsub version. I hate version control sometimes, this isn’t the first time this has happened in Layzner. Just trying to get it all in order and not release a flawed episode.
